HOTEL ARRANGEMENTS

The Institute will be held at the J.W. Marriott Hotel. To qualify for the Institute rate of USD 211 plus 14.5% tax, contact the Hotel reservations department by visiting https://resweb.passkey.com/go/gwu2011tax or by dialing 800-266-9432 (Toll-Free) or 506-474-2009 (Int'l) and identify yourself as a participant in the 2011 Institute on Current Issues in International Taxation (The George Washington University). To ensure a room at the J.W. Marriott Hotel, reservations must be made by Wednesday, November 16. After that date the room block will be released and the Hotel is not required to offer the discounted rate.

*Rates quoted reflect the 2010 Government per diem hotel rates as determined by the US GSA. Actual rates will be calculated on the 2011 prevailing US Federal Government per diem in October 2011.
 

TRANSPORTATION

A taxi ride from Ronald Reagan National Airport to the J.W. Marriott Hotel will take 20-25 minutes and will cost approximately USD 15-20 one way. The Blue Line of the Washington Metrorail System departs from this airport and arrives at the Metro Center station, two blocks from the J.W. Marriott. If you are arriving at Dulles International Airport, the taxi ride will be about 50 minutes and the fare will be approximately USD 50-60 one way.
