HOTEL ARRANGEMENTS

The Institute will be held at the J.W. Marriott Hotel. To qualify for the Institute rate of  $207 USD plus 14.5% tax contact the Hotel reservations department by using this link https://resweb.passkey.com/go/gwu2009tax or by dialing 800-266-9432 (Toll-Free) or 506-474-2009 (Int'l) and identify yourself as a participant in the 2009 Institute on Current Issues in International Taxation (The George Washington University). To ensure a room at the J.W. Marriott Hotel, reservations must be made by Wednesday, November 18, 2009. After that date the room block will be released and the Hotel is not required to offer the discounted rate.

 

TRANSPORTATION

A taxi ride from Ronald Reagan National Airport to the JW Marriott Hotel will take 20-25 minutes and will cost approximately $15-18 USD one way.
 

The Blue Line of the Washington Metrorail System departs from this airport and arrives at the Metro Center station, two blocks from the JW Marriott. If you are arriving at Dulles International Airport, the taxi ride will take about 50 minutes and
the fare will be approximately $45-50 USD one way.
