Welcome to the EJF Race for Justice!

What: Race for Justice 5K Run/Walk to benefit the GW Loan Reimbursement Assistance Program (LRAP) which helps recent graduates pursue public interest employment by providing forgivable loans to those whose annual income, minus law school loan payments, falls below a certain target level.

When: Sunday, March 16, 2008 at 8:00 a.m. There will be a two minute delay for walkers.

Who: Anyone and everyone who would like to run, walk, or just donate to help ensure that GW graduates can afford to provide free and low-cost legal services to underserved populations. That includes GW Law Students, Faculty & Alumni, and all Community Members. Awards will be given to the fastest male and female time in each of the following categories: First overall, GW student, GW alumni, GW faculty/staff, open 20 and under, open 21-30, open 31-40, open 41-50, open 51-60, and 61+.

Where: The 5K course at Hains Point, located at the far tip of East Potomac Park from the Jefferson Memorial and the Tidal Basin.

Directions: From I-95 North, take the East Potomac Park Exit onto Ohio Drive, turn left onto Buckey Drive, and right onto Ohio Drive to Haines Point. Plenty of parking available.
