Lots of volunteer opportunities are available to support animal welfare and further animal causes.  Email GW SALDF if you have any questions or if you want to learn more.
    •    Working on GW Law's own Animal Welfare Project is a great way to gain legal experience, earn pro bono hours, and further animal interests. No prior knowledge is necessary. All GW Law students are encouraged to participate. If you are interested in getting involved in this project, please email our Animal Welfare Project Chair Andrew Friedman.
    •    The SALDF Executive Board is working on updating and reassembling our Humane Education Project. We have all new lesson plans and a cool humane education video. We are looking for volunteers to both help write additional lesson plans and interact with students during our school visits. If you are interested in getting involved in this project, please contact GW SALDF.
    •    Local rescue organizations are always looking for volunteers to support in a multitude of capacities, from assistance in Trap-Neuter-Returns (TNRs) of feral cats, to fundraising, to clerical tasks. Many local rescue organizations are listed on the Links page or you can search for organizations near your zipcode at Pets911.
    •    Look up other volunteer opportunities at VolunteerMatch.
