Chanelle Autrey: cautrey@law.gwu.edu
Born and raised in Washington, DC, Chanell Autrey first began volunteering at the age of 14. At Penn State, Chanell received degrees in Political Science, French, and International Studies. At GW Law, Chanell is Co-President of Street law, a member of GW BLSA, and a student-attorney with DC Law Students in Court, Criminal Division. She is also Chief of Staff for the Mid-Atlantic Black Law Student Association. Outside of law school, she likes to read fiction and cook.


Megan Johnson: mejohnson@law.gwu.edu
Megan Johnson is a former county fair grand champion from Troy, KS. A lifelong Jayhawk fan, she graduated from the University of Kansas with highest distinction, earning a B.A. in American Studies, Women’s Studies, and English. After college, Megan spent three years teaching 10th, 11th, and 12th grade English and Intensive Reading at Booker T. Washington Senior High School, an inner-city school in Miami, FL. In addition to her work with Street Law, Megan sits on the SBA Public Interest/Pro Bono Committee, does pro bono work with the GW Innocence Project, is an associate on The George Washington Law Review, and has served as the GW Equal Justice Foundation’s Vice President for Pro Bono. Megan enjoys shopping at thrift stores, attending the concerts of local rock bands, and throwing elaborate theme parties.

Michael Friedman: friedman.michaelr@gmail.com
Originally from Roslyn, NY, Michael took the law school plunge immediately after graduating from Northwestern University with a B.A. in Political Science and Legal Studies. Has planned lessons and taught constitutional law to 4th, 6th and 7th graders as the Chicago Area Coordinator for the American Constitution Society's: Constitution in the Classroom Program. In addition to Street Law he is the Vice President of Events for the American Constitution Society, a member of the Student Recruitment Committee and the AIPLA Quarterly Journal. When he is not in school Michael enjoys playing Ice Hockey, watching sports, and exploring restaurants in DC.

Lindsay Smith: lindsay.alaina@gmail.com
Lindsay is a 2L who is originally from Belchertown, Massachusetts, which once appeared in Nickelodeon Magazine for its unique name. She attended Syracuse University for her undergraduate studies and majored in Political Science. After undergrad, Lindsay taught 7th grade math in Philadelphia, PA for two years as part of the Teach for America Program. At GW Law, Lindsay is a member of the Criminal Law Society, the Moot Court Board, and has recently begun working on The George Washington International Law Review. This past summer, she interned for Judge Clark at DC Superior Court and hopes to continue her work with youth this spring while working for a juvenile defender program in DC.

Daniel Aum: daum@law.gwu.edu
Daniel Aum was born in South Korea, grew up in Memphis, Tennessee, found himself in Waco, Texas (Baylor University), and finally grew up in South Korea where he had the responsibility of teaching lovely middle school students at Central Christian Academy. He has always had a passion for children as they capture humanity in its unpolished yet most honest form. He was a judicial intern for a Dallas Civil District Court judge over the summer and is currently interning at the Public Defender Service in Washington, DC. Outside of school, Daniel enjoys continually seeking and serving the heart of God, listening to music (with substance), and playing basketball. Legend has it Daniel taught Michael Jordan everything he knows, while saving a couple tricks for himself. Michael was not available for comment.

Mallory Biblo: mallory.biblo@gmail.com
Mallory is from Mequon, Wisconsin. She went to school at Cornell University where she majored in Industrial and Labor Relations. At Cornell, Mallory was a long jumper on the track team. At GW Law, Mallory is a Dean's Fellow and on The George Washington Law Review. Last summer she worked at the National Labor Relations Board. Outside of law school, Mallory likes to run and play tennis.

Liz Geare: egeare@law.gwu.edu
Liz is originally from Tucson, Arizona. Before law school, she attended Auburn University in Alabama, where she received her Masters of Community Planning; and after spending 6 years at Auburn she is now a devoted college football fan! Liz is interested in Land Use and environmental law. This past summer, she interned at Lewis & Roca, LLP in the Land Use and Zoning section, and with the Arizona Land and Water Trust.
